I was just responding to a post on NutriMirror called "Thought I was Immune" and I had an epiphany. Man, I love epiphanys!
Basically it's this:
If you were on a diet, a day of oreas is "blowing it".
If you have created a lifestyle, you had a day of indulgence.
HUGE difference. I have days of indulgence. But my days of healthy choices far outnumber them, which is why I am a successful maintainer. I actually get that there is no such thing as "blowing it".
As long as you make dramatically more healthy choices than not, then what's the problem?
Diets fail. They suck. They restrict you. A healthy lifestyle allows indulgences... when you can afford them, when you have earned them, and when you choose to not let them rule your life.
Thoughts?

Here I talk about my issues and my findings, without political correctness. I am not concerned with your issues, or your baggage, or what you may take from this. The title is "My Journey".

Totally agree with you. It's all about indulging! =D
Nice perspective and oh, so true!! Thanks for saying it.
YES! A thousand times YES! A lifestyle is a journey with no destination, where as a diet ends when you stuff half a cheesecake down yer gullet!
