Wednesday Eats

The issue "de jeur" is eating until satisfied rather than eating what I have on my plate cuz I have the calories to eat it. Pffft.

Breakfast this morning was porridge... and no, the camera was not shooting yellow (although the piece of shit usually does), there is sweet potato in that there porridge. My take on pumpkin oatmeal. Cuz I don't actually like pumpkin oatmeal. This wasn't much better. But I do like craisins and chocolate chips. Those can stay.

Lunch. You know, there is nothing in the world like a great sandwich. I've decided I can eat bread as long as it's a healthy variety, and I don't go insane with it. This here sandwich has avocado, tomato, sprouts and ham. Oh My Yum. Oh, and pretzels. Love pretzels. Truth be told, though, I coulda stopped at half a sandwich. But I didn't want to wrap it up because the tomato would make it soggy. Yes, cuz wasting a half a sandwich is sacrilige compared to getting FAT again. *smacks self in head*

Snack. Oh snack. Oh bagel. With PB2 and apple. Sigh. Sooooo delicious. At least it's a whole grain flax bagel.

Dinner is turkey thigh with a red wine reduction splashed on it and the steamed cauliflower. Fried sweet potato and a little cucumber/black olive salad. Healthy and nutritious. The salad had seasoning salt and olive oil for a dressing, and it marinated in it for 1/2 hour. Great veggiful dinner.

And now to work out. Michelle called to tell me she has to jam on me tonight, so I'm stuck doing a circuit training session at home. Ah well... Steve likes getting an eyeful, lol.

Thanks for listening,

Dee
