Back at it!

Yesterday I damn near killed myself by running 6.81 km in 48 minutes... mainly cuz I have not excercised since getting sick. Capacity is most definately down.

Turns out Magda is right... she said to me that once I had a HRM and saw for myself how many more calories are burned during running vs other excercises, I would become a runner. It might happen. Maybe. No promises.

Ugh, you know I wish I could be a runner. But I can't even run 100 ft without dying. I attribute a lot of it to my refusal of giving up cigarettes too though. I've noticed that when I run with my son it's no longer my body that's killing me but my lungs. I'll have to give the cancer sticks up sometime, just not ready yet. Good for you for stickin to it!

I'm always amazed when I run, even just a little bit, and don't die. *laughs* I began running back in high school, and I haven't gotten any better at it. Running sucks, but I like it anyway. Sounds odd, eh?

Hey, I like your new bloggy look. It's neat, clean, and refreshing to the eye. :o )

Isn't it a great feeling afterward? It becomes addicting very quickly.

I loved, loved, LOVED running. Then blew my knees. Now I look longingly at other runners who pass by my car or house. *sniff*
