If you have issues, or baggage, you may be offended by what you read here. I work through my self loathing of my own fat, and my own fat issues, and I’m told this comes across as loathing all fat people. That is simply not the case.

Here I talk about my issues and my findings, without political correctness. I am not concerned with your issues, or your baggage, or what you may take from this. The title is "My Journey".

This blog is not meant to inspire anyone. I take no responsibility for what you take away from here. You are here as a guest into my inner thoughts.

I had a lovely email from my sister, slapping me for my shoot me. She worries about me, in an eating disorder way. I won't print it out here, because anyone that doesn't know us could take it as abusive, when in absolute reality it's not. But the written word, when you don't "hear" the tone, well, I'm not prepared to throw her under the bus. Suffice it to say... she's concerned that 150 is my shoot me, and things that's a little obsessive.

My response was this:

Listen, the only reason it's my shoot me, is because, quite frankly, losing weight is hard and it sucks. And I don't want to have to do it again. So the solution? Don't PUT 20 pounds on. Anything more than five pounds and I'm back in weightloss needing territory. Don't WANNA.

Am I obsessed? With getting skinny, no. With getting fat, yes. Oh well.

I'd never hate you because of your opinion. I may hate the opinion, but never the person. S'all good.

Thanks for listening,

Hi Dee,
I have been following your blog for sometime and I love it! Your honesty and commitment to good health is really refreshing.

I am the co-founder of Planet Organic Markets (the one closest to you is in Port Coquitlam). I am currently running a weight-loss pilot project and would love to have you participate.

Participants will receive a book and supplements for a 30-45 day trial. The food plan is very similar to what you're doing but the supplement plan is designed to target stress management, blood sugar levels and thermogenesis.

Please contact me if you would like to participate!

I am hesitantly intrigued. LOL

What kind of supplements? Do you have a PDF or email breakdown of your expectations?

Okay, I'm more than hesitantly intrigued.

Hmm... your profile does not show any contact information. Online I go!

Remember... we worked on their media campaign when we worked together in North Van?

Sounds like an interesting opportunity. I hope you take them up on it.

Yes, my project is very informal and the supplements are all safe. I was really hoping to engage someone who has lost weight and trying to maintain that loss.

The supplements are designed to work with the metabolism to make weight control easier. I'd like to get about 10 volunteers who are close to a Planet location.
I'm also looking for people (well women), who have been trying to lose weight and have not found success.

We will be providing the information and supplements free of cost (of course!) Nothing scary at all! It could be fun...

Diane, I phoned and left a message, after connecting with your head office. However, I'm not sure that the message is on the right machine to get to you, lol.

Please pop me an email at dee.sicklesteel@gmail.com with your direct line, and we can correspond / talk from there.

Looking forward to it!
